In a grid with more decentralized generation and new upcoming loads smart components should be able to measure the grid state locally in order to be able to decide on their electrical behaviour.
In this work, the local measurement of the grid impedance using available data of a controllable load to detect the load sotuation in a grid branch has tried to be investigated. Charging of electric vehicles has been selected as related application.
Since the measurement must be very precise, two fit algorithms for a sinusoidal curve have been investigated.
